In the grand scheme of professional sailing, the Melges 32 provides a lot of bang for the buck. With an owner driver rule, a maximum of three pros on each boat, and plenty of performance, the recent World Championships in Newport, RI attracted all the players for a shoot out that wasn’t decided until the final race.
