What is your most memorable sporting moment? You may have been there, you may have been on the couch at home. But wherever you were, the hairs on the back of your neck stood up … and you were just bloody proud to be an Aussie.

Moment 1 – 1983 America’s Cup
This was the day the Aussies stood up to the US and won. With John Bertrand skippering the Ben Lexcen-designed Australia II, we came, we sailed and we conquered over the cocky Americans. That, of course, left then PM Bob Hawke to declare that “any boss who sacks anyone for not turning up today is a bum”. – Read more
