Highlight of match race season: US Grand Slam Series

The 2013 US Grade 2 Grand Slam Series will host an impressive array of international match racing talent on the four-event tour held during a four week span. Participating teams will not only get valuable Grade 2 points on the ISAF World Match Race Rankings list, but also get bonus points because 83% of the teams are ranked in the top 100 in the world.

Teams competing in the Grand Slam events will also earn points towards their overall Grand Slam series scores, where the winner receives two highly sought after Grade 1 invitations in 2014:

– 50th edition of the Congressional Cup in Long Beach, CA
– Chicago Match Cup in Chicago, IL (only US stop on the Alpari World Match Racing Tour)

Here is the schedule for the 2013 US Grade 2 Grand Slam Series

Chicago Grand Slam: August 16-18
Detroit Cup: August 22-25
Knickerbocker Cup: August 29-September 1
Oakcliff International: September 4-8
