CORK Olympic Classes Regatta Day 4

Kingston (Lake Ontario), Canada (August 20, 2013) – Day four of the Cork Olympic Classes Regatta (OCR) saw another day of great sailing conditions with 12-15 knots of breeze from the southwest. After 12 races, David Wright (CAN) sits in first with 20 pts in the Laser NA Grand Prix. In the Radial NA Grand Prix, Max Lopez (USA) sits in 1st with 36 pts. In the 49er, Canadians Jon Ladha/Daniel Inkpen are in first with 21 pts after 16 races, and in the 49erFX, Paris Henken/Helena Scutt (USA) are in first after 15 races.

On Wednesday, starting at 12 Noon, the 49er and 49er FX will each race three medal races, providing great entertainment for spectators off the pier at Portsmouth Olympic Harbour. Watch the live Twitter-feed for updates. Results are being updated throughout the day. All other fleets will compete as well to determine the final results of the series.
