Terhune wins Lightning North Americans

Westport, CT (August 23, 2013) – Unable to race at the 2013 Lightning North Americans on Thursday due to thunderstorms, the 58-boat fleet fit in three races on Friday to complete a 5-race series. Leader Allan Terhune, Jr. with crew Katie Terhune and John Wilson continued their dominance, adding a 3-2-4 to a pair of threes to grow their narrow 2 point lead into a 12 point margin over bridesmaid David Dellenbaugh/ Jay Lurie/ Janel Zarkowsky. In third was reigning world champion crew Jody Starck with teammates Allie Jones and Ian Jones. Results below
