No races today at Junior Snipe Worlds due lack of wind

Published on September 17th, 2013

Rio de Janeiro, Brasil (September 17, 2013) –  Today was not a good day for all the Junior Snipe sailors in Rio de Janeiro. They spent the whole day waiting at the club, and the wind didn’t show up. “Here at the club we had a small breeze but at the sailing area the wind was light and shifty”, said Cuca Sodré, Race Officer. For tomorrow, the weather forecast indicates a cold front, with rain and medium wind. Three races are schedule, with the first warning signal at 12 o’clock.
