Martinez, DeLisser early leaders at College Singlehanded Nationals

Published on November 8th, 2013

Newport, RI (November 8, 2013) – The first day of the College Sailing/Laser Performance Men’s and Women’s National Singlehanded Championship began breezy and cold, but proved productive with six races completed in both the men’s and women’s divisions. Sailors braved temps in the 40’s (without the wind chill) and a westerly breeze between 14 and 20 knots with some puffs in the mid 20’s. Lots of capsizes. Racing continues Saturday and concludes on Sunday.
