Etchells U.S. Nationals in Biscayne Bay

Published on February 20th, 2014

The 2014 Etchells U.S. National Championship will be hosted by Coral Reef Yacht Club on March 21-23, 2014. The event will be held alongside the club’s signature race, the Coral Reef Cup, scheduled to take advantage of the fine sailing weather in South Florida.

This is the third year the Etchells U.S. Nationals will be at the Miami venue. “March is possibly the best month of the year to sail in Biscayne Bay and the past two years produced conditions that have been simply magic,” shared New Zealand skipper Anatole Masfen, who is again making the trip to compete.

An additional incentive from the event is that the top five finishing boats will automatically qualify for the Etchells World Championship (if not already qualified), which will be held June 21-28 in Newport, RI.
