The Endless Summer of Sabot sailing

When filmmaker/narrator Bruce Brown followed two surfers on a surfing trip around the world, the footage would eventually become the movie, The Endless Summer, released in 1966. It proved to be tremendously popular, showcasing an activity and lifestyle that had not been widely witnessed.

Naples Sabot racing is the same. This popular pram in Southern California is not well known beyond the region, and the area’s consistent climate allows for year-round racing… The Endless Summer.
