VIDEO: Stena Match Cup Sweden highlight show

The second stage of the 2014 Alpari World Match Racing Tour landed on the picturesque island of Marstrand, the home of Stena Match Cup Sweden, on June 30 through July 5. With a 14 team line up including Americas Cup veterans Ed Baird and Magnus Holmberg as well as up and coming match racers in the form of David Gilmour and Joachim Aschenbrenner it would shape up to be be a classic event. Celebrating its 20th anniversary the party atmosphere permeated throughout the week.

The big question was could local hero and three time Stena Match Cup Sweden winner Bjorn Hansen defend his title to make it three wins on the trot and 4th in total on home turf?

Marstrand welcomes over 100,000 spectators each year to its natural amphitheatre for some of the most competitive action of the season.
