Knickerbocker Cup kicks off in Manhasset

The Knickerbocker Cup, hosted by the Manhasset Bay YC, is the third event in the USA Match Racing Grand Slam. With the winner qualifying for an entry in the prestigious Argo Gold Cup later this year, competition between the 10 international teams will be fierce as they battle it out head-to-head in the Swedish Match 40 class yachts. Grade 2 Match Racing starts Thursday August 28, and runs through until Sunday, August 31. The Oakcliff International, the final event in the Grand Slam, follows September 4 – 7.
