Light winds at Hobie 16 North Americans

Lewes, DE (September 23, 2014) – The high pressure moved into the area for day 2 of the Hobie 16 North American Championships and provided a light air racing day. Two races were held with a short break for lunch in between races.

Jason Hess and Irene Abascal from Guatemala padded their lead in the regatta and are in first by 12 points. Mark Modderman sailing with his daughter Grace Modderman (USA) moved into a tie with Dan Borg and Lianna Giovanda (CAN) for 2nd place. Pedro Colon and Monica Cabrera are only 2 points behind in 4th place. The sailors are preparing for a breezy day tomorrow.
