Published on October 13th, 2014

The Opera House Cup Regatta was the first all-wooden, single-hulled classic boat regatta on the East Coast, and now annually attracts some of the finest sailboats in the country. The 42nd edition was held August 17, 2014 in Nantucket, MA.

Kestrel, a 1929 Fishers Island 31 Herreshoff sloop which raced this year, just completed an extensive restoration by the talented marine tradesmen from the “Ocean State” of Rhode Island.
