Farr 40 class circuit returns to California in 2015

After the Farr 40 class organized in 2014 a five event circuit in California that included the North American Championship and culminated with the class World Championship in San Francisco, the class will return in 2015 to the golden state to host their most prominent events.

2015 USA Circuit
March 4-7: F40 Midwinter Champ – San Diego, CA
May 27-30: F40 Event # 2 – Cabrillo Beach, CA
July 22-25: California Cup – Marina del Rey, CA
August 19-22: Rolex North Americans – Santa Barbara, CA
September 24-27: Rolex World Championship – Long Beach, CA

Additionally, Rolex has extended its on-going commitment to the class by confirming it will extend the sponsorship agreement through the end of 2017. A long-term schedule is under discussion by the newly formed sub-committee of Alberto Rossi, Andrew Hunn, Wolfgang Schaefer and Geoff Stagg, with plans to include the 2016 Rolex Worlds returning to Sydney, Australia in March before the fleet moves to Europe for the summer season. Preliminary 2016 European locations under consideration are Bodrum Turkey, Ancona and other Adriatic ports in Italy, and venues in the Mediterranean for 2017.
