Poland and Great Britain take RS:X Youth World Windsurfing Championship titles

Clearwater, FL (October 25, 2014) – After four days and 12 open races, the RS:X Youth World Windsurfing Championship titles were decided in today’s double-score medal races among the top ten. Trailing by a point coming into the day, Radoslaw Furmanski (POL) won the race to beat Italian Mattia Camboni by one point in the 54-board men’s division. Emma Wilson (GBR) held her lead in the 28-board women’s division by winning today to take the title by 12 points over Berenice Mege (FRA). Wilson also won the U17 title, while Francesco Tomasello (ITA) won the U17 men’s title. Event website.
