One of the team members expressed his happiness to be in Argentina: “We are very happy to stay here and we feel really welcome although we are far from home”. Their representative journalist, Nima Chandler told us that they were not going to come to the worlds because they didn’t have money to afford the airplane ticket, but one month before coming a sponsor supported them to participate on the Optimist Worlds. She also added they got used to the food very quickly; they brought a bag full of thai food but they didn’t eat anything.

Monday is the spare day, with sailors returning Tuesday to complete the racing for the individual World title.
