Best American riverfront cities

A USA Today reader’s contest has determined the ‘Best American Riverfront’ to be Wilmington, NC, which narrowly beat out Spokane, WA. Filling out the top five winner slots are two Iowa cities – Davenport and Dubuque – as well as Pittsburgh, where the Allegheny, Ohio and Monongahela Rivers converge. Full report
