Shorecrest Prep sweeps High School Singlehanded Nationals

Bellingham, WA (November 2, 2014) – After fickle winds on Saturday allowed for only two races at the Cressy High School Singlehanded Championship, the breeze today provided plenty of punch to complete eight races for both the Laser Full Rig and Laser Radials divisions. Shorecrest Preparatory School in St Petersburg, FL swept both fleets, with Patrick Shanahan ’15 winning the Full Rig and Nic Baird ’15 winning the Radial. Eighteen skippers competed in each division.
