VIDEO: 119 nautical miles on a kite

Dave Robertson becomes the first person to complete the iconic Coastal Classic, held October 24, 2014, on a kite. The 119 nm (220km) race is run annually from Auckland Harbour to Russell in the Bay of Islands. With speeds averaging around 20 knots and peaking at 27 knots, Dave’s time was 7 hours 28 mins.
