Two Olympic silver medallists were left fearing for their lives after being mugged at knifepoint in Rio de Janeiro on December 10. The British sailing duo Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark, who came second in the women’s 470 class at London 2012, were robbed as they walked back to their training base. The former world champions have been in Brazil as part of preparations for the Rio Olympics in summer 2016. Additional details in The Guardian and BBC.
