Pursuit first to finish Annapolis-to-Newport Race

Newport, RI (June 7, 2015) – The 35th biennial Annapolis-to-Newport Race had staggered starts on Thursday (June 4) and Friday (June 5), attracting 71 entrants for the two courses (465 and 476 nm). Pursuit, a Custom 48 skippered by Norman Dawley, was the first to finish, today crossing the finish line off Castle Hill Light at 5:30 EDT with an elapsed time of 3 days, 4 hours and 45 minutes, having started with the Thursday group.
