Marblehead to Halifax Ocean Race: Done and Dusted

Halifax, NS (July 8, 2015) – Sixty-two entrants began the 363nm Marblehead to Halifax Ocean Race on July 5, with only one team failing to finish the biennial contest. Steve and Heidi Benjamin’s Carkeek HP 40 Spookie took both line honors and won IRC Division 1 and Overall, while Bruce Hancock’s Whitby 42 Saraphie won PHRF Division 4 and Overall.

The Marblehead to Halifax Ocean Race is co-sponsored by the Boston Yacht Club and the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron. The prize ceremony is planned for Thursday evening at the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron.
