Flojito Y Cooperando continues to set pace at J/70 Worlds

La Rochelle, France (July 9, 2015) – The second day of the J/70 World Championship (July 8-11) completed three more races for the 78 teams, which now brings in a discard for the six races completed. Retaining the lead from yesterday is Mexican entrant Julian Fernandez Neckelmann’s Flojito Y Cooperando which today posted a 4-3-1. With crew Bill Hardesty, Willem Van Waay, and Erik Brockmann, they hold a seven point lead over Carlo Alberini’s Calvi team, while yesterday’s runnerup, defending world champion Tim Healy, slipped to fourth after posting a 11-1-BFD. Ten races are scheduled. Results.
