Flojito Y Cooperando remain in lead at J/70 Worlds

La Rochelle, France (July 10, 2015) – The penultimate day of the J/70 World Championship (July 8-11) completed two more races for the 78 teams, leaving just two remaining races for tomorrow to determine who will be the second world champion in the J/70 class.

Holding the lead since day one, Julian Fernandez Neckelmann’s Flojito Y Cooperando (MEX) continues to sit atop the rank at the close of day three. Posting a 6-6 today, the team which includes Bill Hardesty, Willem Van Waay, and Erik Brockmann holds a seven point lead over Carlo Alberini’s Calvi team (ITA), with defending world champion Tim Healy (USA) 15 points off the lead in third place.
