A crash occurred on August 22 as Team Dubai crossed the finish line at the 2015 UIM XCAT World Series in Gold Coast, Australia.

XCAT (short for Extreme Catamaran) is one of the most challenging and extreme powerboat series in the world with speeds approaching 120 mph on a track as rough as any off road motorsport. XCAT boats are multi-hulls made of advanced carbon technology with two outboard engines with 600 hp with up to 5,000cc.
