The World Sailing Show – February 2016

Published on February 22nd, 2016

The World Sailing Show provides a monthly view of the racing world. From non-stop around the world racers, to the intensity of Olympic campaigns, from seasoned professionals, to grass roots weekend warriors, The World Sailing Show will get into the latest action afloat. Here’s the February 2016 show description:

This month we kick off with an amazing tale of how the SMA team spent two and a half weeks chasing their abandoned race boat over 1,100 miles in the North Atlantic in the middle of winter.

We find out how a decorated Paralympian and World Champion has even bigger ambitions and wants to take on the world.

And we ask Robert Schiedt, one of the world’s most famous sailors why he wants another Olympic medal and hear how he copes with the pressure.

We also catch up with the Spindrift team to hear what they have planned next, while we also find out what makes one of the brightest stars in the Laser Radial fleet tick.

Plus, plenty of news and great footage in this 23 minute show. Go on, it’s what lunch breaks/train rides/airports/evenings…were made for!
