Melbourne, Australia (April 1, 2016) – Ronstan, a world-leading manufacturer of sailboat gear, was launched 60 years using the first names of its two founders Ron Allatt and Stan Le Nepveu. However, a recent discovery of corporate documents has revealed that the company name was in fact a merge of their middle names. Ron’s actual full name is Harold Ronald Arthur Allatt and Stan’s full name was Kenneth Stanley Leslie Le Nepveu, but the partners agreed that Harken was not a proper name for their company.
