Video Highlights: Extreme Sailing Series Madeira Islands 2016

Four days of action (Sept 22-25) in the Madeira Islands saw plenty of thrills, spills, one big collision and countless lead changes during Act 6 of the 2016 Extreme Sailing Series™. After 14 races it was the Swiss team Alinghi claiming victory despite being dismasted in a crash with Red Bull Sailing Team the previous day. Video published on Nov 1, 2016.

The Extreme Sailing Series is in its tenth season, with this year’s eight event tour travelling through Asia, Europe, and Australia. The platform used is the one design foiling GC32 catamaran, with the format highlighting ‘stadium’ short-course racing in front of the public.
