Changes for New Zealand Olympic Program

Jez Fanstone has stepped down as Yachting New Zealand’s high performance director following arguably the country’s most successful Olympic sailing campaigns. Fanstone voluntarily resigned after eight years at the helm of the high performance team, choosing to spend more time with his family. Under Fanstone, New Zealand doubled their medal count in London 2012, and doubled it again at the Rio 2016 Games to match the nation’s previous best return at the Barcelona Games in 1992.
