In this episode the Vendee Globe is passing through the doldrums heading for the Equator as Brit Alex Thomson leads the huge pack of French sailors, they are not amused, the MC 38 fleet had this year’s last event on Sydney Harbour and the Kiwi were supreme, another Kiwi Sir Russell Coutts the CEO of the Americas Cup Event Authority gave a rare “in-conversation” long interview in Sydney with the World on Water prior to him departing to Japan for the last Louis Vuitton Americas Cup World Series regatta he talks on many facets of sailing and the sailing media, our cruising segment this week and Rick Moore of “Sophisticated Lady” explains how to fix steering problems while back on Sydney Harbour last Sunday it blew 30 knots and the 18 Footers crashed and bashed around in Race 3 of the NSW Championships.
