Sunfish Youth World Championship 2016

Thirty-six sailors representing eight countries competed at the 2016 Sunfish Youth World Championship, held November 18-20 in Cartagena, Colombia. With a strong daily current, near-perfect 6-12 knot winds and plenty of sunshine for all three days, Angelo Giuria of Peru dominated the event, winning with a 13 point lead over Andres Bocalandro of Venezuela in second. Clemente Seguel of Chile finished third. Sixty-one entrants will compete in the Sunfish World Championship on November 22 through 27. Full youth results.
