Disciplinary Decisions in the Sport of Sailing

Disciplinary decisions within World Sailing are determined by Independent Panels appointed by the Judicial Board. Questions, reports, or comments on disciplinary matters should be sent by email or in writing to the Chief Executive Officer.

You can also contact WADA as part of their Speak Up! program which aims to help keep the integrity of sport and protect clean athletes.

• Leandro Martin Luque (ARG): Breaches of good manners and sportsmanship contrary to RRS 69; Suspension of ISAF Eligibility for 5 years from 30 October 2012 to 29 October 2017. (decision not available)

• Martim Oliveira da Silva Monteiro (POR): Whereabouts failures; competition Eligibility suspended until 10 October 2017. (decision not available)

• Ruth Biermann (GER): Breach of sportsmanship contrary to RRS 69; Competition Eligibility (within Germany) and World Sailing Eligibility suspended from 6 September 2016 to 31 December 2017. (decision)

• John Collingwood (AUS): Breaches of good manners and sportsmanhsip and bringing the sport into disrepute contrary to RRS 69; Competition Eligibility suspended from 17 October 2016 to 25 July 2017. (decision)

• Sergio Marcos (ARG): Breaches of rules and sportsmanship; World Sailing Eligibility suspended from 9 November 2016 to 8 November 2017. (decision not available)

• Roberta Caputo (ITA): Breaches of good manners and sportsmanhsip and bringing the sport into disrepute contrary to RRS 69; Competition Eligibility and World Sailing Eligibility suspended from 20 July 2016 to 19 December 2017. (decision not available)
