Light winds stall Opti Team Race North Americans

Toronto, Ontario (June 29, 2017) – The Optimist Team Racing North American Championship took place on two courses today with teams from North America, Mexico, and the Caribbean on one course, with teams from countries in South America, Europe, and Asia on the second course.

Lack of wind, and accompanying shifts in wind direction when wind did fill in, meant that getting enough races in to complete a series was difficult. Team Racing will continue tomorrow after the Championship fleet races for the day have been completed.

Racing concludes on July 1.
