Video Highlights: Extreme Sailing Series Madeira Islands

The third event of the 2017 Extreme Sailing Series™ held June 29 to July 2 in Madeira Islands, Portugal. Seven international teams competed on the GC32 for four days with SAP Extreme Sailing Team leading from day one, but not without having to fight off advances from Alinghi and Oman Air.

Background: The Extreme Sailing Series is in its eleventh season, with this year’s eight event tour travelling through Asia, Europe, and Australia. The platform used is the one design foiling GC32 catamaran, with the format highlighting ‘stadium’ short-course racing in front of the public.
