Los Angeles to host 2028 Olympic Games

(July 31, 2017) – It was announced today by the International Olympic Committee and Los Angeles officials for the City of Los Angeles to host the 2028 Olympic Games. Los Angeles had been a finalist with Paris for the 2024 Games, and this announcement opens the door for the 2024 Games to be held in Paris. Marseille is the proposed sailing venue in France with the USA venue expected to be in Long Beach, CA.
