Americans have pace at 420 Junior Europeans

The 2017 420 and 470 Junior European Championships were held August 8-13 on Lake Garda in Riva del Garda TN, Italy. Competitor from 25 nations and five continents were in the field, with 109 teams vying for the 420 title. As the 420 class grows in North America, it was well represented in the results with Americans Dylan Ascencios/ Nick Chisari finishing second overall and Carmen and Emma Cowles finishing fourth among female teams in the open results while Max Anker/ Leyton Borcherdin and Michelle Lahrkamp/ Gabriella Del Bello were 8th and 10th respectively in the U17 division.
