Midway at Six Metre World Championships

English Bay, Vancouver (September 18, 2017) – After a long wind delay, the second day of the 2017 Six Metre World Championships stayed on schedule with two more races for 45 teams representing 11 nations.

After tied for the lead yesterday, Phillippe Durr (SUI) now sits alone on top the Open Division, three points clear of Andy Beadsworth (GBR), while HM Don Juan Carlos de Borbón (ESP) has taken over the lead of the Classic Division by four points ahead of Peter Hofmann (USA).

The championship has now held 4 of the 8 races planned for September 17 to 20.
