Travel Grants for 2018 O’pen BIC Worlds

The 2018 O’pen BIC North American Championships will be hosted by Buffalo Canoe Club on August 9-11 in Ridgway, Ontario. From the North Americans, four boys and girls will receive travel grants to the 2018 O’pen BIC World Championships in New Zealand, hosted by Sir Russell Coutts from December 30, 2018 to January 5, 2019.

Two boys will be randomly selected from the top ten boys, and two girls will be randomly selected from the top six girls.

The Buffalo Canoe Club is an easy drive from airports in Buffalo, New York or Toronto, Ontario, and has hosted many national and world sailing championships. A strong turnout is anticipated as BCC itself has more than 25 O’pen BICs in their own Junior Sailing Program.
