High pressure holds off Moth Worlds

Published on March 30th, 2018

Hamilton, Bermuda (March 30, 2018) – After racing yesterday at the 2018 Bacardi Moth World Championship Bermuda was postponed due to light winds, today’s scheduled lay day because of the Good Friday holiday was at risk. However, with a broad ridge of high pressure over the area, and a forecast today indicating clear sunny skies but a maximum wind speed of only 5 knots, no racing will occur today.

The 77th running of the Moth Worlds is planned for March 26-April 1.
