Lightning Class: Starck wins Miami, Conte wins Circuit

Miami, FL (March 30, 2018) – The third and final day of the Lightning Midwinter Championship saw David Starck with brother Tom and Jenna Probst, who were leading at the start of the day, narrowly hold on after a 2-15 to take the title. Argentinians Javier Conte, with teammates Julio Alsogaray and Paula Salerno, posted a 4-2 today to tie but Stark’s three bullets in the eight race series gave them the edge.

However, Conte and his team (above) claimed the Southern Circuit Championship which included all the races from the Midwinters and the Lightning Winter Championship held March 24-26 in St Petersburg, FL. Full results.
