Cronin and Couranz win Snipe Women’s Worlds

Newport, RI (August 19, 2018) – Carol Cronin and Kim Couranz (USA) took care of business today to win the 2018 Snipe Women’s World Championship. Entering the day a point off the lead, the Americans finished third in the lone race while overnight leader Anette Melsom Myhre and Janett Krefting (NOR) stumbled to 10th, dropping them to third overall. Mafalda Pires de Lima (POR)/ Kathleen Tocke (USA), with a second today in the 14-18 knot winds, moved up to second overall.

Racing was held from August 16 to 19.
