Forum Rules and Policies

Welcome to the Scuttlebutt Forum. We do not wish to censor, but we will ensure that the forum rules and policies are respected. We reserve the right to delete posts and ban users at our discretion, without prior notice. The rules below have been developed to avert potential problems, and are updated as needed.

Forum Rules

• User names should be your own name, which provides greater validity to your comments. However, nicknames are permitted, but they shall not be obscene or that of another person.
• Place post in correct category, and keep replies within the realm of the original posting. Moderator may move incorrectly placed posts to their correct category, or delete them if they are found to be inappropriate.
• Each category in the Classified Ads has rules listed at the top. Follow them.
• The information in your post shall be truthful to the best of your knowledge.
• Please no bashing or personal attacks.
• Profanity and photos/topics of an obscene nature should be avoided.
• Only advertising permitted is in Classified Ad section – private parties only (except for Job ads)
• Links to third party sites are permitted, but may be edited based on merit.

By participating in the Scuttlebutt Forum, you have agreed to follow the rules and policies.
