Love the concept! But you've missed out the best venue of all - Fremantle.

The Freo doctor and his 30 knot gusts would make short work of this season's monster multi-hulls. But... not before featuring the Cup's more telegenic crash and burn sequences. While this would be wild and dangerous (even potentially fatal) for the crews, it would create an historic spike of interest in the Cup. Remember the Golden Rule of media coverage, "If it bleeds, it leads." This scenario would also multiply the macho factor for Ernesto and Larry. Which billionaire is brave enough to sail on his mega-million dollar baby? Fremantle or San Francisco Bay would be the two most thrilling Cup venues for these big beauties.
Nah, I want West Wight Potter 15 boats off Cape Horn with one billionaire on each boat and no crew.
