From Brian Dawes: "I recently picked up my first 420 to sail out front of my parents waterfront home, but due to the lack of beaches or close by boat ramps, I had to devise a plan to get my boat in every day easily so I made my own ramp/dock setup."   Skipper Bouwe Bekking and his Telefonica Blue team going aground at the Volvo Ocean Race start of Leg 9 from Marstrand (SWE) to Stockholm (SWE) will not soon be forgotten.  Always take a group shot at each regatta and send it to Scuttlebutt. This group was at the Snipe Atlantic Coast Champs in Surf City, NJ.  We had to include this photo by Leighton O'Connor, who was there for the first finisher of the OSTAR 2009 in Newport, RI. When Jan Kees Lampe and La Promesse crossed the line at 01:10 on June 12th, we suspect our faithful shooter was wondering about a career choice that had him out on the water rather than in bed.
