Entry open for winter Bacardi events

The Notice of Race is online and entries are open for the Bacardi Winter Series and the 94th Bacardi Cup Invitational Regatta in Miami, FL.

The 2020-21 season kicks off with the Bacardi Winter Series, featuring racing for the J/70 and Melges 24 over two weekends in December and January. The focus then moves to the 94th Bacardi Cup for the Star Class and the Bacardi Invitational Regatta for the J/70, Melges 24, Viper 640 and VX One classes.

The iconic 94th Bacardi Cup, whose history stretches back to 1927, will again attract the legends of Star Class racing to face off in the traditional daily race in the hunt to claim the famous Bacardi Cup Trophy.

Event dates are:
• December 12-13, 2020: Bacardi Winter Series 1
• January 23-24, 2021: Bacardi Winter Series 2
• March 8-13, 2021: Bacardi Cup and Bacardi Invitational Regatta

The organizing committee will continue to closely monitor the recommendations of the World Health Organization and all guidance for the staging of safe and healthy events with respect to COVID-19 precautions.
