Scuttlebutt: Video of the Week

(March 19-23, 2007) The Panama Canal opened in 1914, with the 48 mile waterway now being used by more than 14,000 ships annually. A typical passage through the canal by a cargo ship takes around nine hours, though as you will note from this week's 1:02 minute video, they are going a bit quicker this day.
