Scuttlebutt: Video of the Week
(May 14-18, 2007) The Tybee 500 is a distance race for catamarans from Hollywood, Florida to Tybee Island, Georgia, and is the source for this week’s video…make that, videos. The race has stops along the way, where elapsed time is clocked, and restarts occur the next day. On Leg 3 from Jupitor to Cocoa Beach, FL, the breeze was up, the waves were messy, and the start had several casualties. If your time is tight, the top video looks to have caused the most damage, but they are all humbling in their own way.
