| (August 18-22, 2008) The 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China held the sailing events in the city of Qingdao, with racing August 9th through the 21st. The eleven events had an Opening Series, with the top ten positions then advancing to a final Medal Race where point positions were doubled and non-discardable.
