In 1845, nine yachts gathered off the New York Yacht Club's first clubhouse in Hoboken, New Jersey to compete in the first running of what then became the Annual Regatta. The oldest and longest running regatta in America, New York Yacht Club's Annual Regatta presented by Rolex was held for the 158th time on June 8-10 in Newport, Rhode Island.
