Here's a video of Ronnie Simpson on the Moore 24 "Hope for the Warriors" aka "US 101" competing in the 2012 Singlehanded Transpac. That's right ... Ronnie crossed the biggest ocean in the world on one of the first ultralight displacement sailboat designs dating back to 1972.

The race from San Francisco to Kauai took 14 days and 12 hours, which was good enough to win class. Ronnie was sailing on behalf of wounded-veteran non-profit "Hope for the Warriors" to raise money.and awareness for teaching wounded-veterans to sail.
